Liberty College creative arts students showcase talent in seasonal exhibition

Creative arts students from Margate’s Liberty College unveiled their mixed media creations at a special seasonal exhibition held at Turner & Rowe in Ramsgate.

The showcase marked the culmination of their latest mixed media project—an important unit designed to encourage learners to experiment, explore new artistic approaches, and push beyond their creative comfort zones.

The exhibition opened with a well‑attended meet‑and‑mingle event on Saturday, 21st March, generously hosted by Turner & Rowe. Visitors engaged with the artists, viewed an exciting range of mixed media pieces, and supported the young creatives through several artwork purchases made on the day.

The success of the event has already opened new doors. The group has received an invitation to exhibit again from 15th–19th April at Chartwell House, a retirement community in Westwood.

The upcoming showcase will form part of World Art Day 2026, giving residents the opportunity to enjoy the Learner’s work and meet the artists behind the pieces.
