Learners from Liberty College’s Land-Based Studies programme, currently studying the Level 2 Garden Design course, recently attended the Kent Countryside Careers Fair at Detling, Maidstone.
The visit provided an excellent opportunity for learners to explore the wide range of careers available within the land-based sector. Throughout the day, they engaged with a variety of employers, organisations, and businesses representing industries across Kent, including agriculture, farming, animal care, and conservation.
The event enabled the young people to gain valuable insight into apprenticeship schemes, further training opportunities, and potential progression pathways, helping to inform their future career planning. The experience proved both inspiring and educational, supporting their understanding of real-world career routes linked to their studies.
