Admissions

Liberty College is a Section 41 provider therefore to meet our admissions criteria the young person must be:

• 16 – 25 years old
• have Special Education Needs
• have an EHCP, or be in the process of gaining an EHCP

Referrals Process:

The Local Authority will send a copy of the young person’s EHCP or proposed EHCP to the Liberty College for consideration. This will be processed by Liberty College and to assist with this process the young person may be invited to visit the college. If the college agree that the young person’s needs can be met, they will inform the Local Authority who will then decide whether to name the young person to the college. However, if the college conclude that they are unable to meet need, they will contact the referral provider to inform them of this.
