Duke of Edinburgh

We have set up the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Scheme at Liberty College to give our learners the opportunity to take part in the world’s leading youth achievement award. Through our DofE programme, learners will experience new activities and learn new skills while developing their independence, their resilience, their teamwork and their community values along the way.

This will be our third year of running the programme, we offer this to all learners taking part in our Sports and Fitness vocational course however every learner has the opportunity to take part in Duke of Edinburgh at Liberty College as an additional qualification alongside their chosen vocational subject. Learners will have the option to complete the Duke of Edinburgh at bronze or silver award, however if you choose to complete silver award then you will be able to also complete bronze award. Full information can be found in the information letter in the ‘information for parents’ section below, along with a powerpoint explaining how parents can support their young person with achieving the award.

Please follow the links below for more information about the Duke of Edinburgh and some resources to support participants. We will update this site regularly with any relevant forms or information. If you have any queries please email or teams our Duke of Edinburgh Lead, Jordan – Jordan@libertygroupltd.co.uk
